I live and work in the North of England, UK. I studied art at Goldsmiths College, London. I was awarded a degree in art and education.
I have exhibited my work at The Great Sheffield Art Show and in my local shops and art galleries.
I work in mixed media sometimes combining paint with other materials and found objects such as bits of dinosaur bone, fossils and gemstones. The themes in my work are often abstracts, abstracts of flowers, mythology, and landscapes. I like to give conventional subjects an original twist. I paint nearly every day. I keep a diary of ideas for paintings in my sketch book and on my notebook.
My work is influenced by my many favourite artists including: Chagall, Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, Pollock, Rothko, Grayson Perry, Hirst and Matisse.
