Ed Martin Art

Working with glass in virtualy every aspect for 38 years I have been creating full time for a living over 15 years. Part of the outsider art movement I am totally self taught and have never taken formal training of any kind. In my career I have been featured in magazines and on PBS Illinois stories. I have created a large commossion for the percentage for the arts program in Illinois and recieved countless awards around the country at numerous art shows.

My Artist Statement

In my work I always move forward to create totally one of a kind pieces. I stive to make my work fun, free flowing work that truly engages the viewer to tap into the subconcious freedom and break from the restaints of everyday life. In my work as well as life it is all about the adventure.
