I was born in Indiana to parents who were born in Michigan and Pennsylvania and met and got married in Kentucky. My parents then moved to Ohio (where my brother was born) and I went to school, going through a variety of dream jobs including, as I once wrote, "Cardioligist" (5 yrs old), "Neuroligist" (7 yrs old) "Roboticist" (8 yrs old) "Genetic Engineer" (10 yrs old) "Mechanical Engineer" (11-16 years old), before finally settling on photography as a career. While going to college for Photography and becoming dismayed with the program and contemporary fine art photography in general, I decided after a gentle push from my beautiful wife that maybe I should become an Art teacher. And this is how I ended up in Georgia making art.
I make stuff.
