My Artist Statement
I want to catch your eye from across the room. And the closer you get, the more curious and interesting the object becomes. I use elementary mechanical elements to make objects that twirl and go up and down. When you look at it, hold it in your hand and play with it, it makes perfect sense. It's not complicated. An elementary mechanical engineering element can simply make you smile and look fabulous on your shelf or desk.
I work with wood, sometimes adding plastic toys, music box mechanisms, or other things I find interesting. |
