For my paintings, I start with sketches that are along the lines of realism and break down the lines, shapes, shadows and colors to create my final abstract work. I like to see my work going through a process similar to that of a butterfly. It starts with the egg, the idea, and moves through it's stages of complete metamorphosis. Through abstract work, I believe, I have come to see the reality more perfectly in it's simplified form.
In my wire art, I use a doodle style design which focuses on the stone setting.
I am located in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
