I paint in the traditional style maybe best described as leaning on Impressionism. VanGogh, Monet, Cézanne & Nicolai Fechin are my most important teachers. I was born in Alsace France to a French Father and a German Mother. I now live in the United States and paint in Oil and Watercolors and occasionally also in Acrylics. My head is in a creative vice from sun up till sun down. If something interest me, if it makes me think, occupies my mind, makes a laugh or cry it may end up in some form on canvas or paper. Painting is my therapy, a way to say what I can not say in words. From the profound to the mundane, from joy to pain, I create to keep myself sane!
