Photographed with a Linhof Technika IV large format view camera on Kodak Ektachrome film, the soft glass-like blues deriving from a 16-second exposure after the sun had passed below the horizon. Digitally printed on archival canvas with pigment inks and two coats of satin varnish applied. Available larger and smaller sizes, also as a fine art photographic print for traditional matting and framing.

Born in Indiana, I have lived many places throughout the United States. Formally trained as a wildlife ecologist, I am self-taught as a photographer. I began with my first camera in the fourth grade (because my brother got one!) though never gave it up. My brother went into theater, acting, speech, debate, and eventually film.
