Description: One of the things that first caught my eye about Leonid's palette knife paintings was his ability to create romantic settings in unorthodox ways. In 'Alley by the Lake' we see two lovers on a romantic stroll along a city park, with a gorgeous blue night sky, competing colorfully with the golden street lamps illuminating their path. Rather than staying indoors and away from the rain, the couple shares a quite night together under their shared umbrella, as the drizzle paints the night and gives their modern landscape a lovely glossy finish. The striking colors, attractive matte finish and durable metal medium work beautifully in a living space, office, home, restaurant, hospitality, or restaurant display. Leonid Afremov is one of our newest designers to contribute to the Modern Crowd family, with a brand new collection of metal giclées offered exclusively through Modern Crowd / Metal Art Studio. We make them right here in our studio in Cincinnati, Ohio.
