Best Friends shows cut gemstones spilled over a white cloth: An extreme close-up view of cut stones.
This studio image was part of an exercise in macro photography. It was created on Ektachrome transparency film in an 8x10 inch Kodak 2-D view camera mounted with a 210mm/f-5.6 Caltar-II N lens. Several plus-diopter accessory lenses were mounted to the lens. Extreme bellows extension wasused. Multiple strobes lighted the scene. Exposure was not recorded.
