Decorators Favorite Modern Wall Decor 'Passing Currents (5-Panel)' -48x20 in. - Metal Wall Sculpture by Nicholas Yust Decorators Favorite Modern Wall Decor
$ 890.00 In stock
Product description: Passing Currents (5-Panel)' is also available in a 10-Panel Design with the same grind pattern, but with an additional horizontal cut. This is another of NY Artwork's most popular pieces, with it's calm, sloping curves and gentle wave effect. It is often times compared to a soft breeze, a slow wave, or even a large fish. In that case it also fits nicely with some of the aquatic-themed pieces (see also Polar Encapsulation, Trunion, and Green/Blue Inversion). Variations of the Passing Currents piece are popular world-wide, especially in areas near the ocean, such as Florida, California and Australia, and even with Churches and Religious Art collectors who speculate that the fish-like design represents a common religious symbol. Please Note: Although we do have a gallery in Cincinnati with 30-50 designs available at any given time, many of our pieces are "Made to Order" so you are getting a brand new, hand-crafted piece, and customization requests are welcomed. Depending on the complexity of the design and Nicholas's production schedule, this may take about 6-12 weeks during most of the year, and about 8-16 weeks during his show/exhibition season (January thru April.) Please contact us if you would like to know which pieces we have in stock in the gallery at any given time, for more immediate delivery. Thank you!

Contemporary Metal Artist namely cutting, bending and grinding patterns. Early Days as a Metal Artist - Shortly after this initial experimentation Nicholas built a custom triptych of ultra-modern heavily ground aluminum panels as a decorative display in his own home. His friends and relatives marveled at the minimalist appearance and uniqueness of the metal display. In his spare time he built several more wall hanging modern metal sculptures, which eventually led to the development of his present artistic abilities. As he continued to create wall sculptures he also experimented with free-standing sculptures...read more
