Gateway to Dogtown
Share this photo with your friends

This is an overpass separating Emeryville, CA from West Oakland, CA. This neighborhood in West Oakland is also known as "Dogtown." The lampposts shining in the afternoon sun reminded me of sentries on watch at the gate. Oil on canvas, 36" x 36." Gallery-wrapped and painted around the edges so no frame is necessary.
