Irises at Dusk Vivid Framed Acrylic Painting

16x20 acrylic painting framed. Here are white and purple irises that reflect and absorb the hot pink and orange glow of a spring sunset. Every year I look forward to the irises. They've been a favorite subject for drawing and painting since I was in high school! I took photos of irises around sunset and then manipulated them in Photoshop and based my paintings from these digital creations. I was able to discover unusually bright colors! This painting was created with purples and fresh greens as well as fluorescent acrylic paint for power highlights. The painting glows in a well lit room as well as under a black light. Framed and ready to be hung to cheer up any office space or home.
