I have been fortunate to be involved in a trip at the Isles of Shoal, where this paiting took place. It is a set of 7 (sometimes 5) islands off the coast of New Hampshire and Maine. You can get there by ferry from Rye, New Hampshre, taking only 15 minutes.The main island, Star Island is very rocky and very small, you could actually walk all around it in less than half an hour. The hotel has character and there is a murder story which took place there maybe a century ago. The views are breathtaking. Watercolor print. Original painting selling for $2,000.00.
