Mosaic Wall Art, Star with Crescent Moons and Swirly Clouds, Stained Glass, "Star Shine"

Created in 2010, "Star Shine" has a large star in the center of this 10×10 inch piece. It was created in tempered glass on top of acrylic and glitter surrounded by iridescent stained glass in a rusty color. Crescent moons and swirly clouds in each corner were created in the same way with acrylics and tempered glass but the designs were outlined in gold and silver mirror respectively. Small dots of Millefiori glass were placed within them.

Bright, bold colors in tangerine, lilac, lemon and royal blue were added in waves around the designs and I grouted it in charcoal grey and sealed.

The sides and back were painted in a metallic silver. It's signed, dated and sealed for protection. There's a sturdy D-ring attached to the back.

My star, moons and clouds mosaic measures 1010 inches.
