Sunset on Fort Pond is based on photos I took through the windows at the East by Northeast restaurant in Montauk, NY. I wanted to capture the darkness in contrast with the glory of the afterglow. The painting is acrylic on canvas, 12 inches high by 16 inches wide, on heavy duty stretchers, with painted sides. A frame is not necessary. It is signed and dated on the back. I send a letter of provenance which increases the value of the work. All my artwork is copyrighted by Eleanor Gilpatrick. Copyright is nontransferable through the purchase of artwork.
