Wooden Book - Art Marquetry. Front and back cover of the books is made in marquetry technique. Inside the book there is a secret place in which documents or other valuables can be kept. The size of the space inside is 8 1/2" x 6" x 1 1/8". Inside the book is covered in felt. The book (outside finished) is covered with 2 coats of sealer and 5 coats of a high gloss port cat lacquer, sanded between coats and rubbed with 600 & 1000 wet/dry sandpaper then machine polished to a high gloss finish in high gloss lacquer. All books are open like "Eagle" book.
