David Wilkinson - Artist Statement
My artwork, in all forms, is characterized by a classically trained attention to my material and its possibilities. My current series of warrior helmets, based on the works of Sophocles and Homer (“PTSD in 5 BC”), introduces a new theme to my abstract expressionism.
