I am 69 years old and have lived on a homestead here in northern Alberta, Canada for the last 40 years. My wife and I have been self sufficient and raised our four kids here. I always have made crafty things for my kids and for our house. We built our own house and all the out buildings. I have marketed some of my works at farmers markets and craft sales. Now I want to try out sales on the internet.
I have been making wooden crafts of all sorts for the last 20 years or so, mostly rustic stuff and alot from reclaimed wood. I also do old homestead furniture from old barn boards, and picture frames with a bit of history about the buildings that the wood comes from. I am making unique picture and mirror frames at this time. I can also do inlayed mantles and shelves. No two of my works are the same. The frames are solid wood with small intricate pieces fitted in. I also inlay oval pieces with square or diamond shaped pieces inside.
All my work is hand made and I havn't seen any work like this any where else.
