My photography career began in the United States Marine Corps in the late 1960's. I reside in Southern New Jersey and the Florida Keys. After 20 years working in commercial photography, I began dedicating my artistic passion to the digital image. The original photograph is the palette from which I create the final artwork. As with the 19th century Impressionist painters, I am inspired by the play of light expressed by a bright and varied treatment of color. This inspiration, along with masterful handling of the latest imaging techniques, transform my original camera captures into one-of-a-kind painterly visions. We are at the nascent of creative vision in digital imagery. I hope you will enjoy my efforts as I share with you my art.
Feel free to contact me in regards to my art, patronage opportunity, private commissions or questions about any of my individual pieces. I also host educational
photo safaris to Tuscany and Venice, Provence, and, commencing in 2012, Sicily and Malta.
