Jill Fleming grew up on a working cattle and horse ranch in South Dakota. Jill spent most of her youth horseback, working cattle and competing in barrel racing, pole bending, and breakaway roping in local rodeos. Her greatest passion is photography and she was able to fulfill a childhood dream when she had the opportunity to photograph in the press area of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo as well as at the Calgary Stampede.
Jillís love of the western lifestyle comes through in her photography. She enjoys traveling and immersing herself in the culture of her youth. Her western background enables her to capture the spirit of the American West in her fine art photography.
She was recently awarded Superintendentís Choice at the Iowa State Fair with her piece Ė Cowboy Gear @ Midnight as well as recently having her work published in American Cowboy Magazine and Todayís Horse Magazine.
