After receiving a PhD degree in genetics from the Ohio State University, I spent nearly 30 years working in pharmaceutical R&D. I learned copper-foil stained glass techniques during that time and created many pieces for friends and family. More recently I have expanded my glass art skills to include mosaics and kiln-fused glass. I started GlassArts Studio in 2009 to market my work online, and at local art galleries and gift shops. I have sold pieces online to happy customers in more than 15 states!
I am a member of the Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA) and the Chester County Art Association (CCAA). I trace my love of glass as an artistic medium to my attendance of a Catholic grammar school where I spent countless hours in church admiring the stained glass windows and beautiful mosaics.
I design and create original, high-quality, glass mosaics and stained glass pieces. I am inspired by mother nature and the environment where I live in southeastern Pennsylvania.
