Jennifer's passion for travel and culture have inspired her newest works of acrylic paintings and colored pencil pieces. After backpacking through different parts of the country, she has been excited to portray her newfound vision of the beauty in simple things, and the glorious landscapes the world has to offer.
Through her use of vivid color and movement, Jennifer's acrylic paintings walk along the border of fantastical and real. In contrast, her drawings comment on the amazing detail of human faces and animals. By gathering up extensive photographs from her travels, she then comes back and translates these travels onto canvas and paper with great joy in hopes that the viewer is able to see and feel what she feels when visiting these incredible places.
Jennifer has been a freelance artist and traveler for over 10 years; graduated with her BA from the University of Irvine, and currently owns and operates an art studio called Palette Passions in the city of San Marcos.
