Born in 1957 in Philadelphia, as a boy, I took instruction from professional artists as well as attending The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art during the mid 70's. I have been featured in several galleries along the east coast and represented in many private and corporate collections as well as a published illustrator.
My current work is a selection of river and wetland images that explore the interplay of light and form in motion. This series focuses on the balance of opposites found in nature such as light and dark, complementary color and patterns of stillness and movement. The images are painted in the style of contemporary realism which merges the representational with the abstract.
