About Lisa A Lincoln
I've been working in clay and loving it since I was knee-high. I started studying at the Cheltenham Center for the Arts in PA and continued in NYC at the Barnard College Pottery Collective, the and Greenwich House Pottery. I've been a working member of several studios and currently craft sculptures at home.
The work is one of a kind, twice fired, colored with glaze, oxide and an occasional cold finish, unless otherwise specified.
In art we have the option of re-figuring life.
My goal is to make pieces that are amusing and reassuring, playful and generative.
I am happy when I can help others imagine along these lines. But sometimes, when grim events demand, I will ask a question with my art.
I also create commissioned works.
