I am a freelance Science Illustrator, and am currently embarking on a second career in Veterinary Technology as a student at Mercy college. I am an avid animal lover and frequently volunteer for various animal organizations, both taking care of animals, and drawing them. I live in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
My Artist Statement
My passion as an artist is in evoking curiosity and highlighting the unique qualities of obscure species of animals through creating scientifically accurate and beautiful imagery that is also educational. I am especially interested in showing people the amazing under-represented animals.
