There was never enough time for me to follow my passion by going to formal art school but mom made sure I had the best training available within her disposal.
I took to my training with great enthusiasm being drawn to pencils and paints and with it was time for me to go to school I ventured out into vivid colors, coloring outside lines that were put in front of me, even to the point of driving all of teachers absolutely crazy; but what meant the most to me was the faint smile that I brought to motherís face as she gave a stern warning to my teacher! Because she knew 'her son was following his own artistic voice.'
My free spirit is seen within every painting giving them an enchanting quality.
I studied at the University of Minnesota then went on to obtain my B.A in economics @ Tulane University.
My education and background in economics and free style leads to my eclectic flair giving depth to my paintings and also reaches into every aspect of my life.
A word from my wife Etta: "My husband Chris is an extraordinary man whose impressions flows effortlessly in all integrated arts, from visual, to culinary, literary, and musical; but what he finds his fulfillment in is, baking fresh bread or homemade cookies, in the evening sitting on the couch watching television teasing his wife of eleven years.
Chris specializes in geometric abstract, postmodernism, florals, painted furniture, industrial art, and murals.
