Nabila Feroze grew up in the US, but she always held a deep pride for craftsmanship in furniture-making of her native South Asia. She dreamed of combining this interest with her professional ambitions. While pursuing an MBA, Nabila envisioned creating a new eco-friendly solid-wood furniture line that combined sophistication with exquisite eastern elements such as woodcarving, inlays, glass, metal elements.
Every creation is a functional work-of-art that incorporates elegant design with superb hand craftsmanship. Each piece is produced from the most prized North Indian Rosewood sourced from sustainable forests in Pakistan and India. Woodcarving is created by hand. Metal pieces are custom-made from either steel or copper. Inlays are made from mother-of-pearl sourced from Thailand. Shellec is used to enhance the beauty of the rosewood.
Nabila Feroze graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Chemical Engineering and holds a TRIUM Executive MBA jointly issued by NYU Stern, LSE, and HEC Paris. She has traveled extensively in the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, South Asia, Middle East, and China. Her pieces are a celebrations of the cultural influences. Nabila is based in New Jersey where she continues to realize her dream and passion.
I aspire to create the most exquisite pieces of modern furniture with intricate carvings, mother-of pearl inlays, glass, copper, and metal works.
