Paul Jeffrey is the son of a Detroit auto factory worker.
Prior to designing and manufacturing limited production furniture, Jeffrey worked as a concept car designer for Ford Motor Company in Detroit. He’s a graduate of the prestigious automotive design school, College for Creative Studies, where he earned a B.A. in Industrial Design. Paul received further design training as a 6 month intern in France for Hueliez Auto.
In preparation for his entrepreneurial career, Paul Jeffrey studied for two years at the Fashion Institute of Design in Los Angeles.
In 2002 Paul moved to Phoenix and started Paul Rene Furniture and Cabinetry with Rene Cervantes, whom has an engineering background. Their team consists of 8 other highly skilled woodworkers whom are dedicated to handcrafting the finest limited production and custom furniture that transcends the ordinary.
Paul Rene’s work has appeared in several top home design publications including LUXE Interiors + Design, Phoenix Home and Garden and Home and Design.
I'm naturally inclined to pierce the surface of things. There, in the unseen reality, that drives the seen, is where I find inspiration. I strive in my work to give the viewer a visual experience that's transcendent, tranporting.
