Dahlias on Yellow & Blue Dahlias on Yellow & Blue
$ 1050.00 In stock
Product description: Painted from life on my porch in Minneapolis, MN. Features a bouquet of Dahlias in shades of magenta, white, orange, and pink on a background of yellow and blue textured brushstrokes, accented by a sunflower at the bottom, and tips of red-pink cockscomb. The petals of these flowers are accentuated by the textural use of the palette knife to "carve" the paint into the desired shapes. The brushstrokes in the background add additional visual texture. The painting has an overall effect of movement and life, and features cheerful colors which will enhance any room in your home or office. Would make a wonderful focal piece over a couch, fireplace, bed, or dining table. In a gallery-wrap style, painting continues onto the sides of the stretched canvas, and requires no frame.
