Lark Erin was born in La Jolla, California. She spent her childhood outside in the canyons and on the beach, collecting shells and gazing at the beauty around her. She received her B.A. in Fine Art from Scripps College for Women in Claremont, California. During a summer in between her two years at Claremont Graduate School, she attended The San Francisco Tapestry Workshop for a month-long submersion in the ancient tapestry art form.
