Product description: "The Doppler Effect is a very unique member of our modern metal art collection because unlike many of NY Artwork 's sculptures the grind pattern does not cover the entire surface. It is in one isolated path traveling from one edge the other. The artist has to be so careful when grinding this sculpture because the edges of the winding pattern are actually outlined first by hand with a blade After that is completed, he meticulously grinds the metal, also by hand, within the outlined path. The squiggly grind trail of this sculpture looks very much like an aerial view of a winding river. This sculpture looks beautiful unpainted as well, as you can see from the original 'Doppler Effect'. " Please Note: Although we do have a gallery in Cincinnati with 30-50 designs available at any given time, many of our pieces are "Made to Order" so you are getting a brand new, hand-crafted piece, and customization requests are welcomed. Depending on the complexity of the design and Nicholas's production schedule, this may take about 6-12 weeks during most of the year, and about 8-16 weeks during his show/exhibition season (January thru April.) Please contact us if you would like to know which pieces we have in stock in the gallery at any given time, for more immediate delivery. Thank you!
