Duet -- Hungarian Rhapsody Series -- Hungarian Men by Somogyi Duet -- Hungarian Rhapsody Series -- Hungarian Men by Somogyi
$ 125.00 In stock
Product description: This is no. 5 in my series “Hungarian Rhapsody”—a whimsical nod to my Hungarian roots, expressed as musical works—two gentlemen in their ethnic clothing. I did not exaggerate the silhouette of the clothing--these are what a woman would call "palazzo pants"--so wide they look like a skirt. The derby hats were worn at a very rakish angle, and sported what looks like feathers and small tree branches stuck in the brim. The details varied by county but were intricately embroidered in bright colors. 9" x 12", Acrylics, ribbon, fabric trim, found items & paper collage on canvas.
