Product description: This is the 86th in a new series of acrylic works on canvas. I began painting many years ago with acrylics and work with acrylics when doing outdoor public works, but this is the first time I have revisited acrylic painting on canvas in many years. It has always been my interest in expanding on the tools that I have as an artist and constantly evolving as a painter. This piece is a completely unique and original large abstract acrylic painting on canvas. It is an exercise in fluid painting. This piece is stunning in its soft, fluid movement. Beautiful blues, purples, violets, oranges, green and pinks dance with each other, flowing in and out and creating some sort of ethereal cosmic landscape that is like the origin of the universe. This piece is also punctuated with tiny cracks, cells, and textured green specks that add subtle depth and further intrigue. It is a soft, beautiful and large piece that adds color, light and calm to your space. It is the third piece in my "Origins" series and the 86th in my new series of abstract acrylic works. This "Origins" series is a truly affordable series of large colorful and original artworks for your home or office. Note: This painting is painted on canvas and does not come framed, however the painting continues on the edges of the canvas and therefore framing is not necessary. It is hang ready. Painting in pictures might not be perfectly to scale. This painting is signed on the back and includes my Certificate of Authenticity. © 2017 PMS Artwork. All rights reserved.

Artist Preston M. Smith (PMS) found himself cross-eyed and with no depth perception as a child. This was the "lens" through which he developed his unique visual perspective of the world, which he now shares as a painter. Preston’s work has transitioned from moody pop surrealist paintings into vibrantly colorful, tactile, highly textured and almost "edible"abstract works. His mantra for his abstract work is "color, texture, and beauty", and his work and life have been an expression of moving from darkness into light. Preston’s work has been showcased alongside...read more
