Shimmering Spring landscape painting with blossom by Gill Bustamante Shimmering Spring landscape painting with blossom by Gill Bustamante
$ 1980.00 In stock
Product description: 40 x 40 x 1.5 inches large original semi abstract oil painting of a Spring forest landscape with blossom trees. This painting is muted in tones and full of white, cream, pale pinks and lilacs and caramel colours. It is art nouveau and semi abstract in style and shows woodland view with trees and a lake and a small deer stag on the left. It started life as a much brighter painting but I liked it better once I had toned it down. At a glance it looks like a neutral toned abstract but as you look closer you see the blossom and the trees and the get the feeling of Spring. The deer presides over this scene as he does in many of my landscapes. This is his space domain and he is the spirit of the forest and the season. Painted on deep edge canvas - edges white, no frame needed.
