Smooth Things Out by Preston M. Smith PMS Smooth Things Out by Preston M. Smith PMS
$ 495.00 In stock
Product description: This is a completely unique and original abstract oil painting on wood. The texture in this piece and my oil series is massive, thick and chewy, almost edible. This piece also adds a prolonged smoothness that juxtaposes the texture. It glides and shimmers. In person you will want to touch it and I encourage this. It was painted with a swarm of color, energy and texture. This painting also has a design element to it and is exciting to look at from any angle. This series has been one of my all time favorites to paint. Note: This painting is painted on a thin piece of wood and I recommend having it framed. It will come hang ready however. This painting is signed on the front and includes my Certificate of Authenticity. © 2017 PMS Artwork. All rights reserved.

Preston’s work has transitioned from moody pop surrealist paintings into vibrantly colorful, tactile, highly textured and almost "edible"abstract works. His mantra for his abstract work is "color, texture, and beauty", and his work and life have been an expression of moving from darkness into light.
