$ 1149.00 In stock
Product description: This is a 30 x 30 x 1.5 inches green landscape painting made using thick impasto oil paint. It is impressionist and expressionist in style and was made after visiting Penshurst in Kent last summer. The fields and woodland around the area were so verdant it sang. If you look closely at one of the tree trunks you can see a dryad (tree spirit) emerging from one of them. In the meadow's were cow parsley and long luscious grass and insects and birds buzzed about very happily - as did I. This is a tribute to an English summer with all its exuberance. The edges are white and no frame is needed.
