Product description: A print of a painting I did, using a black canvas board, from pastels and colored pencils. This was my first attempt at doing this medium and I was thrilled with the results. I brightened the image in Photoshop and brought out more of the contrasts. The water shows the reflection of the setting sun and is in a rainbow of colors. I love to paint the ocean as much as I love to paint colorful skies. The piece just came to me and is of no particular location, except in my mind. I see it and I think of a beach that has been warmed by the sun all day, and is now starting to cool as the sun sets. I hope the image can invoke memories of being in the sun till it starts to slip below the horizon and the sky lights up with a multitude of colors. This is an unframed image. There are different versions of this piece available, feel free to browse my site for alternative choices. The image will be printed on photo quality paper using a professional grade printer. Contact me about different sizes or if you would like it on a different surface than what is listed. Thank you for your interest in my store. You are purchasing a copy of an original work of art but as the artist I still retain the copyright for future prints.
