Product description:Since the launch of NASA’s Hubble telescope, we have seen amazing images of worlds galaxies away. I find inspiration for my celestial art in these photographs of planets and nebulae. I try to translate those images into my own unique vision with my art. This piece reveals a star exploding to life inside a colorful cloud of gases and was inspired by the NASA image of the Crab Nebula. I use several layers of resin, glitter and paint on a solid birch board with a flush mount hook on a 1/4” wood mount on the back to give the illusion of floating on the wall. It can be hung or displayed on a stand. (Not included). This piece is 14”x11” and 1/2” deep overall. Multiple layers of resin create an ethereal depth with a glass like finish.
