While waiting in the Canadian Consulate to finish my final immigration paperwork, I started sketching people, then notices some interesting shoes a couple people were wearing. I became intrigued by how shoes, foot position, etc. express people's personalities and tell a story about them.
The bright pattern and strong texture of Anandi's boots, contrasting against the neutral colour of her pants and floor reflect the exuberance and energy of a 7 year old girl, while the still position give a feeling of shyness or uncertainty.
