Product description:As I See It: A Self Portrait A As I See It was created as an exercise in macro self-portraiture. The subject is my left eye, my better eye (the one with any sight at all). The lens was about a foot away from my face and I tripped the shutter directly by hand. The image on the negative is at least life sized (1:1 ratio). Exposure is unrecorded. This image is from one of the last of several exposures. The strobes (three Vivitar 283 flash units) were very close. The startled expression may be the result of flinching. This print is an archival ink jet print from a scanned 8x10 inch negative. The film is Kodak Ektascan, an emulsion developed for Utra-Sound and Nuclear Medicine imaging. It is no longer available. The imaging equipment was an 8x10 inch Kodak 2-D view camera mounted with a 90mm f/8 Nikkor SW lens. As I See It was selected for inclusion in the Passionate Focus 2012 exhibition sponsored by The Guild for The Blind in Chicago. 8x10 $175 Matted 11x14 $275 Matted 16x20 $400 Ships Rolled
