Product description: Red cedars cling to the sandy edges of barrier islands facing the salt marshes of coastal Georgia, twisting and turning in amazing ways. The trees bend to the prevailing winds, enduring for many a decade. I found this tree growing on a private island, and was entranced with its sinuous tenacity. I drew it in silverpoint on acid-free paper, because the luster of the silver on the paper seemed to echo the shimmer of the salt-laden bark.
