Product description:This carving depicts the many different faces of a clown. Symbol of laughter, eccentric in being, yet hides a character of sadness and demeaning. The wood I use for the panels is grown for commercial use, as I have always been conscious of the environment. I like to carve the wood as it gives a 2 dimensional view that makes the work very exciting. The wood panel undergoes a 7-step process before it is ready to be painted. Then I paint with oils like I do the canvases. The woods donít need to be framed, they are hung as is and one can not only enjoy the carving but can also feel the textures. The carvings are extremely labor intensive. The woodcarving will be very well packed with bubble wrap and put in a sturdy box. The carving is unique and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Please contact me for shipping and handling price prior to purchasing the artwork.
