The shapes and surfaces of stones are very inspirational to me; no two stones look alike, and I see each of them as a masterpiece made by Nature. The quality of weight is involved not only because of the nature of the material but also because of the eons of time that they have been in existence on the planet. The patterns and color tones of the surface shift and change with the passage of the day. In my tapestries I have taken the stone images to another level by capturing the density and timeless nature of the stones in the soft medium of woven tapestry.
