Product description:As a child, like many others, I enjoyed gazing at the clouds looking for familiar shapes among the ever shifting sky. I find looking at these painting inspired by nebulosity photos taken by the Hubble Space Telescope to inspire a similar desire to seek familiar shapes among the nebulous starry sky. I've always had a great interest in mythology. A recent tangent lead me to the correlation between those myths and the constellations. The specific nebulosity photo that inspired this piece is of the constellation Dorado where the Tarantula Nebula exists. Note that this piece is actually two separate each measuring 17"x14" pieces intended to be hung together either side by side as shown or in a vertical arrangement. The purpose of this is the emphasize the ever changing nature of the night sky.
