Product description:"Lit in 1887, this red brick lighthouse, at 175 feet tall, is the second tallest tower on the East coast of the United States. It is open to the public and you can climb the 203 steps to see the 3rd order Fresnel lens in the 'lantern' room." Artist comment: "A trip to Florida to visit friends was an exciting adventure of a lifetime. I live in Washington State, so the journey was my first long flight from one corner of the United States to the other. I was very impressed by the height of this all brick tower. In my studio, when I arrived home, I painted an oil on canvas using my notes and reference photos. This realistic rendering includes the flags and picket fence that make the scene unique." "Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse" is a limited edition, giclee print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. Edition length is 2050 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (2000 numbered and 50 artist proofs). Image size is 7" X 5". This substrate is Epson Premier Canvas Satin water resistant giclee canvas, using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt(TM) print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints. This stretched canvas print is gallery wrapped (the image is extended or mirrored to wrap around the sides of wooden stretcher bars and stapled to the back) so the print can be displayed framed or unframed. The print is signed and numbered by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is wired for hanging. These miniature canvas prints are perfect for display in small areas or in groupings with like subjects (lighthouses, old cars, seascapes, seagulls, etc.) or on small easels on your desk, on a bookshelf, coffee table, small decorative table, or any nook or cranny.
