I have been a ceramicist and painter for most of the last twenty years. My objective in art is to bring beauty in our daily life. When I throw or sculpt or paint, I always think about the setting this particular object will be in. I like to imagine that it makes the environment more open to grace and that it brings up in the viewer or user a sense of elation and hope, a desire for harmony and a deep tranquility. I live in California.
