Twister Carved Sculpture Twister Carved Sculpture
$ 15400.00 In stock
Product description: This carved sculpture stands at an amazing 5ft tall with a diameter of 4feet around and is made from forest reclaimed Alligator Juniper. To come across a log this size is very unusual and therefore had to be made into something incredible. Scott first used a chainsaw to start carving the twist and funnel shape on the outside and then the inside. Then grinders were used to do the final shaping. The top of the sculpture is actually the base of the trunk where the roots were and was left as natural as possible. Turquoise and Abalone shell were inlayed into some of the natural cracks and voids and a redwood burl was used for the base. This is a one of a kind sculpture for the discriminating art collector.
